I have learned to be positive, creative and above all patient.” |

There are numerous benefits for teens who serve as READ tutors: |

| |
| |
Training |
|
| |
READ tutors are trained to teach children using a research-based reading curriculum. In addition, tutors learn positive reinforcement techniques, constructive feedback, and the importance of various aspects of professionalism such as consistent attendance, punctuality and appropriate workplace communications. |
